Media Goes Tabloid

The media doesn’t report the facts any more. They just report the gossip. We are currently being pelted with the “he said, she said” hearsay news. I know that the media believes that “news” should entertain, but at the expense of important information, it is not so entertaining.  Granted, many of the media consumers are vapid, brain-dead zombies, but we deserve better. 

The media is also steeped in left-wing propaganda and reports it as if it was factual. I realize that Congress doesn’t want the media to report what they are doing, but the “free press” was mentioned by the Founders as a critical component of our ability to keep our Republic from becoming a failed state.  The “Press” does not prepare the voters enough in advance about the details of bills that are likely to be voted on in Congress.  We do have access to Bills as they are filed, but nobody has enough time to keep track of these and play “catch me if you can”. There must be a better way.

Politicians are also unhelpful.  The Democrats have weaponized the media and the Republicans allow themselves to become the ducks in the firing range at the carnival booth.
