The article cites a 'study' that recommends the US adopt
Agenda 21 by executive order and suspension of the Constitution.
While it claims that the US has NOT officially adopted
Agenda 21 (a plan conceived at a UN Conference in RIO 1992) we all know that
our 9 regional planning commissions along with private 'stakeholders' (corporations
and NGOs) have been attempting to infuse those very ideas and principles into every
aspect of our lives here in NH via a grant program called Granite State Future.
While the UN works hard to do the impossible task of
scrubbing its website of thousands of references to Agenda 21, a group called
"Committee on Sustainability" has recommended it be implemented and
even called it by name.
In the article entitled "Restructure US government to
make "huge" green changes in America, study proposes" we read:
"The study also calls for installing sustainability in
the "culture of government" and recommends that the U.S. look for
inspiration to a number of "national sustainable development
strategies" adopted under the United Nation's controversial Agenda 21, a
highly detailed blueprint for reworking the global economy and environment that
was reaffirmed at last year's Rio + 20 summit on sustainable development."
"The sponsoring agencies include the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA), NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA), the Department of Energy
and Agriculture, and a handful of private donors, including BP, Lockheed Martin, and the David and Lucille
Packard Foundation."
Further, calling for a 'new system of government
organization' the study blatantly cites the Constitution and our form of
government as 'impediments'.
"One of the major impediments, the study says, is
created by America's "basic framework of government, established by
law," which is "one of separated and dispersed authority," in
which "government agencies at all levels -- federal, state, local, tribal
and even international -- can only do what they have been authorized to do by
their governing authorities --
namely, Congress, state legislatures, etc." -- not to
mention the U.S. Constitution."
In NH, the RPCs cited similar concerns about how they would
need to overcome "NH's strong tradition of individual property
rights" in order to accomplish their goals. (from New Hampshire

Also, on the July 9th episode of Coast to Coast AM, a man
from the Midwest who has studied this issue spoke for two hours about the
tentacles of these "sustainable communities initiatives". The
American Community Survey, an intrusive effort by the federal government to pry
information from homeowners and farmers that recently had federal agents
stalking and threatening the uncooperative recipients right here in NH, was
discussed. You don't need a subscription to hear him explain the various ways
we are being attacked by this insidious program, as the audio file has been
posted to YouTube.

The legislature created this monster called 'regional
planning commissions' in 1969. But now that these unelected boards have
overstepped their original purpose and have become lobbyists and enablers for
the feds, it's time to rein them in or dissolve them altogether. The residents
of NH are NOT
interested in giving up local control for a centralized,
regional government with planning dictated by unelected bureaucrats who make
decisions based on federal mandates.
