Reform Candidates

I want to see more reform candidates elected to the Georgia legislature.  We need more Georgia Legislators who will view protecting us from federal government and local government overreach as a priority.  Reformers would do the following:

Protect us from the federal government
Reformers would contain federal agencies and not allow them to threaten our property rights or squander our local tax dollars.  They would nullify all unconstitutional federal laws and federal agency regulations.  They would officially declare global warming a hoax.  They would ban Agenda 21 implementation in Georgia.  They would restrict immigration until all Georgians have jobs.  They would understand that corruption comes with each federal dollar.  They would plan to be able to independently operate the Georgia economy.

Protect us from local government
Reformers would review the powers Georgia Law is giving to cities and counties that allow them to issue Bonds and take on debt without a ballot vote of the people.  They would limit municipal debt to not exceed municipal assets.  They would ensure that voting is fraud-protected, property taxes are determined consistently, and scams like “conservation easements” were outlawed.  They would review all permits licenses and fees and eliminate all that are unnecessary.   They would review all laws dealing with redevelopment, community improvement districts and private-public partnerships and give voters some control over this run-away train.

Insist on Principled Processes
Reformers would study, research and question every Bill until they understand its consequences.  They would insist that each Bill stand alone and not allow unrelated amendments to be added.  They would adhere to their own rules and insist that local governments and political parties do the same.  They would expand voter participation.

Infuse Smart Economics
Reformers would understand that bringing U.S. based manufacturing back to rural Georgia and ensuring our water supply and low cost electricity and costs of doing business are the highest priorities.

Ensure Laws are Constitution Based
Reformers would work to repeal of Agenda 21 enabling bills like HB 1216 passed in 2008 and HB 277 passed in 2010.   They would limit land sales to foreign entities.

They would establish and publish core government functions that cannot be handled by the private sector like roads, bridges, water and sewer systems plus government functions like regulatory agencies, courts and legislature.  They would plan the transfer of functions that are not core back to the private sector, reduce fees and subsidies and get out of the way.
Remove Ethics Problems

Reformers would limit campaign contributions to voters, allowing only those voters to contribute to candidates who will appear on their ballot.
Norb Leahy, Dunwoody GA Tea Party Leader
