The lesbian Mayor of Houston awakened a sleeping giant by
targeting five Houston pastors.
In an intense backlash, Christian leaders from across the
nation are unified in calling out Houston's mayor for her malicious, politically-motivated
targeting of Houston's pastors. Five pastors were issued subpoenas, but the
Mayor's message is certainly intended for all of Houston's pastors: Silence
your pulpits on homosexuality, or else.
Even the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) took the
Mayor to task for her misguided assault.
Among those pastors rising up against the government
intrusion is Dr. Randy White, who issued his own "Declaration of
Independence." These points, among others, were reported by the Christian
Examiner:
."I will never give so much as a jot or a tittle of a
report to any government entity about what goes on in the ministry of this
church. We are going to be free from all forms of government intervention from
now and forever more, so help me God.
.I will never abide by any restraint of the freedom of my
pulpit by any government agency or individual within the government. If they
want to hinder the voice that comes from this place, they will have to do it at
the cost of war.
.I will stand for freedom of the pulpit and freedom of the
church and freedom of religion with absolutely no strings attached. The freedom
of this pulpit is not a privilege granted by the U.S. government. The freedom
of this pulpit is granted unto God."
Dr. White and I both believe that if our nation continues
down this radical pro-homosexual path, pastors will be arrested and jailed for
"hate speech." Much of the groundwork has already been laid to
"silence the pulpit and to hinder the freedom of the pulpit."

two of the pastors who were subpoenaed. We're diligently working to build up
our litigation fund and execute our strategy so we can respond immediately on
behalf of these and other pastors facing a legal nightmare because of their
stand for the Truth.

For years I have publicly stated that radical homosexual
activists were hiding their true agenda under the mask of "tolerance"
and "civil rights." But my messages were never more urgent than
during the past 6 years of the immoral "radical transformation,"
taking place in our nation under the Obama administration that is bolstered by
activist judges, militant organizations, and fanatical federal bureaucrats.
If we don't take the offensive now, pastors and Christians
who refuse to promote or participate in this immoral agenda will lose their
jobs, be fined, or even end up in jail. It's important to stand in the gap for
the soul of our nation!
