House Votes on 'Crimenibus' Bill

Another Day Another Trillion
On Thursday, the House Votes to Fund Obama's Amnesty
On Thursday, the House is expected to vote on the so-called "cromnibus." This $1.1 trillion, 1,603-page bill would fund most of the federal government through September 30, 2015 while extending funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) until February 27, 2015.

This is a dereliction of duty, plain and simple. The spending bill does nothing to block President Obama's unilateral, unlawful executive amnesty.

Tell your Members of Congress to vote against funding Obama's amnesty. <http://heritageaction.com/call/house/30338?utm_source=heritageaction&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=cr-action-alert&mktou=13258202>

While some in the DC establishment seem to think that the short-term funding for DHS will provide another opportunity to block President Obama's actions in 2015, this is unlikely. This approach attempts to revisit this issue 100 days from now. By then, this amnesty program will be up and running and the current pressure on the President and his allies will have slackened off.

History has demonstrated that if members of Congress lack the will to fight now, with all momentum and public opinion on their side, they will be no more likely to take a stand next year. Refusing to even try to stop Obama's amnesty now is not acceptable.

Thank you for joining hundreds of thousands of conservatives in taking action over the past few weeks. The fight comes down to the vote tomorrow, so please take a few minutes to make a call and spread the word.
