Very few people believe our government is acting in good faith toward us, the citizens. Most of us believe in Republican Core Values – Family, small government, personal responsibility.

Government can only be changed 2 ways: By GUN .. or:  by VOTES. … We choose VOTES.

DeKalb government, as well as Georgia and Federal, is infested with corrupt officials - that ignore us.

Most Americans have become apathetic and are no longer taking the time to “monitor” government.

Only ½  of our citizens even Bother to Vote . 

Only ¼ care enough to vote in the primaries

The Primaries are Your ONLY Chance to pick YOUR favorite candidate. In General Elections, you only get to vote for someone ELSE’s candidate.

 

Elections are heavily influenced by the political parties – most people vote for THEIR party’s choice.

The DeKalb GOP is heavily influenced by our corrupt officials – it is supposed to be the OPPOSITE!

The County GOP is SUPPOSED to search out and promote HONEST, CONSERVATIVE candidates.

 

YOU can change this. It will only take a few hours of your time (and you will probably enjoy it) HOW?  Participate in the GOP Conventions.

 

There are TWO important Conventions: The Mass Meeting (Feb 7) &  the County Convention. (Mar 14)

(Both are held at Lakeside High School)

 

The “Mass Meeting”:  Open to ALL registered voters in DeKalb County – this one is FREE.

The Participants are seated by Precinct and ELECT among themselves a Precinct CHAIRMAN (YOU?).

The Chairman (and usually more precinct attendees) are Elected as DELEGATES to the County Convention.

(you also have the opportunity to ELECT other Conservatives in YOUR precinct that did not attend)

The ELECTED Chairman (and usually more of you) become DELEGATES to the County Convention.

We need YOU and as many of your CONSERVATIVE neighbors as possible – MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

 

The County Convention: Attended by Delegates elected at the Mass Meeting – this one costs $30.

Delegates (YOU) elect DeKalb Republican Party Officers and Delegates to the District & State Conventions.

 

The Nominations Committee chooses a “slate” of Officers (candidates) for the DeKalb Republican Party, which they hope you will vote on as a Block (all or none – all at the same time).

It will probably have some candidates that favor the self-serving Elected County Officials we already have.  There may be some TRUE Conservative candidates – if so,WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHO these are.

 

If we believe any candidates on the “slate” are not Conservatives we will move for Individual Nominations.

We need EVERYBODY to vote in favor of INDIVIDUAL NOMINATIONS.

We will then nominate TRUE-Honest-Conservative Candidates to fill these offices – we need YOUR Vote.

 

Then, we will vote for Delegates to the 6^th District (April - Dunwoody) & State Conventions (May -Athens).

We will need YOUR VOTE for TRUE-Honest-Conservative DELEGATES to these Conventions too.

 

Last, we elect Officers to the LOCAL Ga Senate Dist GOP where you live (Fran Millar is the 40^th’s Senator)

Your vote here for True Conservative Candidates will help the Local GOP promote Republican Values too.

If you aren’t inside, in line, at 10 - you CAN’T participate!  Bring your Voter Registration or Drivers License
