Sen. Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, affirmed the
IRS under President Obama’s new deferred deportation executive actions is
prepared to give an “Amnesty Bonus” to 800,000 illegal immigrants who file claims
for Earned Income Tax Credit refunds at a cost of $2 billion to U.S. taxpayers
over the next five years. Almost unbelievably, the IRS says under Obama’s
amnesty executive actions, illegal immigrants will eligible for to receive
Amnesty Bonus get “refund checks” retroactively for the past three years, even
if they have paid no income tax, under the Obama administration’s
interpretation of Earned Income Tax Credit rules. “The tax code shouldn’t
reward those who broke our immigration laws,” Grassley said, leading the 11
Republican senators on the Judiciary Committed who said last week giving
illegal immigrants a tax credit for time when they were working illegally makes
no sense and is unfair to taxpayers, according to a report published in the
Washington Times.
Tea Party Loyalists understand the goal of
the Obama administration is to “fundamentally change” the United States by
creating a new, specially privileged class of citizenship for illegal
immigrants, rewarding rather than deporting those who have broken immigration
laws. In February, we learned the Obama administration has issued more than 7.4
million work permits in the form of Employment Authorization Documents to be
issued to illegal immigrants in the first five years of his presidency, from
2009 to 2014.
The Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies reported
the huge number of work permits damages the integrity of the immigration system
and encourages illegal immigration.
Then, last week, Fox News reported ICE agents in a sweep
targeting dangerously criminal illegal immigrants arrested 15 aliens the Obama
administration is allowing to remain in the United States under President
Obama’s amnesty executive action, ignoring an eligibility requirement for the
program that the illegal immigrant granted amnesty not have a criminal history.
“It was not immediately clear when 13 of the immigrants were
convicted or what their crimes were,” Fox News reported. “They were arrested by
U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. The answers to those questions could
undermine the integrity of the government’s program, since eligibility is
reserved for ambitious, young immigrants enrolled in school or who graduated
and who would benefit American society.”
The list of “freebie goodies” Barack Obama has promised
illegal immigrants since the November 2014 elections when voters increased the
GOP majority in the House and turned over control of the Senate to Republicans
is astounding.
Under Obama’s proposal, illegal immigrants will be eligible
Social Security cards, “green card” work authorization permits, state-issued
driver’s licenses, Obamacare, food stamps, participation in state and federal
welfare programs, free education of their children in Spanish in the public
schools, for two years free community college, and now Earned Income Tax Credit
refunds from the IRS even if they pay no income tax.
Let’s face it: the Obama administration is gearing up for a
universal amnesty declaration that will only advance Obama’s master plan of
implementing the Cloward/Piven socialist plan of overburdening the U.S.
taxpayer with social welfare “entitlement programs” for which only illegal
immigrants are eligible that are designed to reduce the once proud United
States of America to the status of a bankrupt third-world country.
U.S. Department of Labor jobs data makes clear that since
the beginning of the recession in December 2007, net employment growth has been
going to foreign-born workers.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics has confirmed that labor
force participation has hovered at a 37-year low point for 13 of the l7 months
since October 2013, resulting in a record 92,898,000 Americans not in the labor
force in February 2015.
With millions of native-born American citizens out of the
labor force because lack of work has caused them to be come so discouraged they
are no longer looking for a job, what sense does it make for Democrats like
Loretta Lynch, Obama’s nominee to replace Eric Holder as U.S. Attorney General,
to argue that illegal immigrants have a right to work?
Tea Party Loyalists remain the last line of defense for the
U.S. Constitution. We are the last ones standing to oppose the Obama
amnesty machine and we must make sure the GOP in Washington understands we have
no intention of backing down.
