High Unemployment through Excessive Immigration

4.4 immigrants are on the waiting list to enter the US. While the State Department handles the granting of visas for those overseas, their application first has to be processed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The agency has been deluged by more than 2,000 applications a day for green cards and work permits after President Obama offered to shield some 4 million illegal immigrant children and adults from deportation using his executive authority.

Most U.S. crime is committed by illegal alien gangs. They are the primary distributors of illicit drugs in the U.S.  The Justice Department said that up to 80% of crime in the U.S. is committed by gangs and that gang membership in this country has grown to 1 million, an increase of 200,000 in the last few years.

Our government is doing everything in their power to make it easier for illegals to come across and stay without showing much concern for the numbers of drug dealers and terrorists who are in those groups. Border Patrol is told not to pull out their weapons, but rather to run and hide when they see illegals.

Remove the Obamacare 30 Hour Rule - On January 8, the House of Representatives passed the Save American Workers Act by a vote of 252 to 171. Twelve Democrats joined a unanimous Republican caucus in supporting the legislation. For purposes of the employer mandate, the bill replaces Obamacare’s definition of a full-time employee from someone who averages 30 hours per week to someone who averages 40.

Conclusions

Unless we close the borders and suspend all immigration, we will never reduce our real unemployment reflected by the 93.2 million working-age people who don’t have a job.
