It just gets better and better and freaking better. If I understand this right, Obamacare is adding more regulations that will raise our premiums even more. Dig it… all insurers who provide insurance through the government will now have to provide for gender reassignment surgery. It’s no longer elective or cosmetic. They have to cover it. And while said patient is in the hospital, they must be put in a room and have access to a bathroom whose gender they identify with. In other words, if your wife is ill and in the hospital and a guy comes in and is getting treated for changing his junk status, they will put him in the room with your wife and the two of them can share the facilities. Isn’t that special? Don’t you just love Obamacare? Not. This is sick and twisted.

Obamacare is just so
wonderful, you guys. Even though a crapton of people lost their
insurance and can’t afford insurance now (at least
without a government subsidy). And isn’t that what we all want? Insurance
that’s totally unaffordable without the assistance of a government subsidy?
Not to mention the fact that
you can’t always keep your doctor. But details, you know.
Well, with the emergence of
all the transgender people these days, the Department of Health and Human
Services has decided to add another regulation to Obamacare, which would
require insurers to cover transgender procedures. Because screw mental health
evaluations. Let’s just skip to physically altering one’s body and make
everyone else subsidize it.
The
new rule applies to every health insurer offering plans through Healthcare.gov
or any of the state-run Obamacare insurance exchanges. It declares that
insurers are prohibited from engaging in discrimination not only on the basis
of sex, but also on the basis of gender identity.
In
the past, several health insurance plans have categorically excluded health
care related to transitioning between genders, often on the grounds that such
procedures are often cosmetic, not medically necessary, and elective in nature.
Now, such categorical bans will be disallowed, and insurers will have to cover
many of the procedures.
And you know what that means?
Premiums are going to go up AGAIN. Because you literally NEVER KNOW if you
might want to switch your gender. Insurance companies can’t discriminate
against you for that. So it’s basically a pre-existing condition now.
HHS claims that it won’t
require insurance companies to cover all transgender procedures, but most of
them.
The
new rule additionally requires that “Individuals must also be treated
consistent with their gender identity, including [in] access to facilities.”
That means, among other things, healthcare providers will have to let the
transgendered use the bathrooms (and in some cases, hospital wards) of the
gender they identify with, even if it clashes with their physical sex.
Aren’t you so excited that you
get subsidize this? Isn’t O-care GREAT?
It’s not bad enough that the cost
for healthcare has now gone through the roof and the level of care has bottomed
out. It’s not horrific enough that death panels and euthanasia are being pushed
as solutions for elderly healthcare. Now we are being forced to go through this
transgender madness, while we are being herded into a single-payer system where
every choice will be taken away. This transgender crap is literally nuts and
insanity is being forced on Americans at large. It’s classic communism – goals
that destroy morality, sexual identity and the family unit. This is out of
control on purpose and it getting more bananas by the day. Watch for the rise
of the local house doctor again – people will go to hospitals as little as
possible and with good reason.

This is a
nightmare when you think of the goofy things kids do. I’m sure their right to have a sex-change
operation will be all over the government school systems before the end of the
year. State Legislators should sharpen their pencils for this one.

Sexual identity is the core issue of human psychology. Gender identity poses a great embarrassment for transgenders and we can imagine the problems of a person who just keeps on struggling to find his own gender identity. Their mind needs a constant help and support in this venture of establishing their own self, so that they can integrate themselves in the society at the earliest as per their psychological need. The problem still gets exaggerated when they don't get enough expected support even from the basic supporting pillar, their own family, as well as society. By en large lack of awareness about the gender identity disorder and absence of defined regulations in the society may be the main attributes for this. This puts a transgender (who is already in a constant internal conflict between body and soul), in a conflict with the society leading to hampered interactions and interpersonal relationships with family, friends and colleagues. We understand the core need of an advanced skilled support system for transgenders at every level of their journey of becoming part of society with dignity.
