Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said it
was not his job to stand up for U.S. President Barack Obama after a man at one
of his campaign events said he was a Muslim and 'not even an American.'
'Am I morally obligated to defend the president every
time somebody says something bad or controversial about him? I don't think so!'
Trump said on Twitter on Saturday morning.

Trump, the billionaire television personality who leads
the pack of Republicans seeking the presidential nomination, has cast doubt on
whether Obama was born in the United States and therefore qualified to stand as
president.
'This is the first time in my life that I have caused
controversy by NOT saying something,' Trump tweeted.
'If someone made a nasty or controversial statement about
me to the president, do you really think he would come to my rescue? No
chance!'
'If I would have challenged the man, the media would have
accused me of interfering with that man's right of free speech,' he continued.
'A no win situation!'
During his campaign event on Thursday, the man began
asking his question by saying Muslims were a problem in the country.
'We have a problem in this country. It's called Muslims,'
began the questioner — the first Trump had selected at a post-debate rally in
the early voting state of New Hampshire.

Once
again, Trump reveals solid judgment. By
doing so, he also reveals that he shares the same misgivings we all have about
Obama. It appears to me that there is
ample evidence that Obama is not only a Muslim, but an illegal alien from
Indonesia, the son of communist parents, with a poor quality fake birth certificate
and stolen social security card, who was sponsored by a tight-knit group of American
Communists to receive a counterfeit degree from Columbia and illegitimate
acceptance into Harvard Law. He is the
Manchurian President, groomed and trained to bankrupt the government and bring
down the US economy. The plan is outlined in UN Agenda 21.
