Protest Debt Ceiling Removal

Late last night, John Boehner, President Obama and the rest of the Washington Establishment finally allowed the American public to see the details of their latest budget "deal" and it isn't pretty. On his way out the door and into retirement, Boehner reached a deal with President Obama and the Democrats that will suspend the debt ceiling (again) and lift the spending caps Republicans fought for as part of the Budget Control Act, allowing an additional $80 billion dollars in deficit spending.

"Here we go again: John Boehner wants to make his last capitulation to President Obama his worst. Rather than keep his promises to reduce spending, this budget 'deal' will undo the spending caps Republicans fought for, adding an additional $80 billion to the deficit.  On top of that, the 'deal' will raise the debt limit and allow Washington insiders to add more to our $18 trillion national debt. As we have stated for years, Congress should not increase the debt ceiling unless they are going to balance the budget within 5 years and immediately begin cutting spending.

"Our supporters understand the real way to stop this bill is to vote against the rule in the House and against cloture in the Senate. Anything short of that is another attempt by Congress to play games with the American public and continues to lead to frustration and anger at Washington, DC among everyday hard working Americans."

Tea Party Patriots won't let the Washington Establishment saddle our children with more debt without a fight, but we need your help if we are going to have a chance of stopping them! Grassroots activists know the games Washington insiders play. Voting for the rule and allowing this terrible deal to come to the floor is unacceptable.
