ObamaCare: Proof That Democrats Will Tax the Middle Class

They say the only two certain things in life are death and taxes. A new piece from my colleague

Hadley Heath Manning at The Blaze argues that ObamaCare is clear proof that Democrats are willing to hike taxes - especially on the middle class:

If America is going to expand entitlements to European levels, government will have to greatly

increase taxes on middle-class Americans, as well. In fact, we already have proof that entitlement expansions mean taxing the middle class - we need look no further than ObamaCare.

Like today's candidates, President Barack Obama famously promised not to raise taxes on the middle class or anyone who earns less than $250,000 annually. But at least seven of the taxes

included in the Affordable Care Act will directly hit this group. From the beginning, ObamaCare has been a major deception.  We were promised that if we liked our plan, we could keep our plan.  Then millions saw their plans cancelled. We were told if we like our

doctor, we could keep our doctor. Then, we discovered doctor networks were being limited under ObamaCare.

We were told ObamaCare would bend the cost curve down, but we've seen health care costs and insurance premiums increase. And now, we know that the middle

class will bear a heavy part of the tax burden for this terrible law. We need real healthcare reform

that makes it affordable for all Americans.  And we won't have that until ObamaCare is repealed entirely.
