VIDEO: NRA Chief DESTROYS Obama On Gun Control

– In a powerful video published by the NRA, Wayne LaPierre addressed the
failings of the current administration’s policies on gun control — and there
were many.
In what many might
consider a public service announcement, “Disarmament” called the executive
office out as more inclined to “appease Islamic terrorists than defend the
constitutional rights of these citizens.”
“A government that
would disarm us in the age of terror,” LaPierre said of Obama’s feds.
By making this
statement, LaPierre pointed out not only the futility, but incredible harm that
disarming patriots would cause.
“Nothing would make us
more vulnerable to generations of suffering and slaughter than the destruction
of our Second Amendment,” he said. “But many of our politicians, aided by
a relentless media, are launching that attack themselves. They dream of joining
the rest of the disarmed peoples of the world in trusting our survival to the
mercy of monsters.”
What the video failed
to mention, however, is why. Politicians from the left believe that this is the
way to a safe future — disarmament. Trust and hope in the authorities.
For responsible Americans,
this is unacceptable.
The video continued:
“The greatest damage the terrorists could ever inflict upon us is disarmament
at the hands of the political elites. But we will never offer our right to
survive as a fool’s ransom to the world’s killers. Our freedom is what they
fear most.”
Within the broader
context of history, no terrorist cell has ever toppled a people, so
long as they remained free. The NRA, and other organizations dedicated to
preserving the Second Amendment, seek to protect that freedom.
