The Catholic Vote

Catholics in the US are divided politically. The divide has historically been roughly 50:50.

Politically Conservative Catholics disagree with Pope Francis about global warming and open borders and will vote accordingly. 

Politically Liberal, “Feed the Poor” Catholics have traditionally voted Democrat and don’t have a problem with the US government’s unconstitutional socialist programs.  Our poor economy and unsustainable sovereign debt have made many of these Catholic Democrats nervous about our economy and ability to maintain our sovereignty.  In addition, Obama’s war on Christianity should have an effect on Catholic voters.

Differences in World View

As a Constitutional Conservative, I believe that a “Private Economy” affords the most freedom and is the best system to allow families to provide for their own support.  This requires a representative government that is not corrupt and the rule of law to protect property rights.  I believe that tolerance must be earned.  I am amazed that Pope Francis doesn’t realize the threat refugee invasion poses to Christian, Western countries.  I believe that the UN is the enemy and UN camp followers are also the enemy. 

My faith is based on my personal relationship with God within my own World View. I believe we are called to protect and defend the US Constitution (as written) in order to ensure our freedom and family-based economy. Every federal government led violation of the US Constitution has resulted in failure, corruption and disaster. These violations pose an existential threat to our sovereignty. Our politicians should have followed the Constitution and required State-ratified Amendments. Our politicians now need to question the constitutionality of most of the departments, agencies and programs created by the federal government over the past 150 years.

I continue to support Trump for President, but I’m delighted to see Ted Cruz in the number 2 spot.  Ted Cruz is a Constitutional Conservative with a Conservative Review Scorecard of 96%.
