Israeli Reporters Are Commenting On America’s Media Bias, 2/3/16, The Blaze
Many Americans are waking up to the gross manipulation purported on us by
the mainstream media in bed with the US Government. It’s gotten so bad, that
even Israeli reporters are noting drastic differences between reality in Israel
and what the US Mainstream media is reporting.
According to The Blaze: Three Palestinian men reportedly
tried to carry out a massive and deadly attack in Jerusalem Wednesday, and
Israeli reporters have taken note of the incident’s news coverage. “3
Palestinians killed as daily violence grinds on,” read the headline from CBS
News. Ari Soffer, managing editor of Israel’s Arutz Sheva, tweeted a screenshot
of the headline and described it with one word: “Unreal.”
According
to Arutz Sheva’s news coverage of the CBS report — during which one female
Israeli police officer was killed — the headline was later changed to “Israeli
police kill 3 alleged Palestinian attackers.” Arutz Sheva said the story “is
just the latest in a string of misleading and downright cynical headlines by
some foreign media outlets portraying Palestinian terrorist attackers as
victims.”
CBS News’
article also attracted the attention of the Israeli Foreign Ministry. “An
unprecedented chutzpah,” a foreign ministry spokesman told Arutz Sheva, adding
that the ministry urged CBS to change the “bias and false headline.”
CBS News
apparently changed the headline again to say, “Palestinians attack 2 Israeli
officers before being killed.” According
to police, the Palestinian men planned to use guns, knives and explosives
during an attack near a holy site. Two female police officers were shot and
stabbed before the three men were fatally shot by police. Police said
19-year-old Israel Border Policewoman Hadar Cohen died from the injuries she
sustained in the attack.
What’s sad
is how blatant the censorship is in this case. Just like the violence
perpetrated by Syrian immigrants, it seems the Palestinians are another
protected class by the US media, and thus will be shown are poor victims with a
cause to rally around.
It’s
another reason why mainstream media is dying. Such attempted manipulation of
perception is becoming so obvious that alternative news sites like Drudge
