Distrust of Both Parties

Democrats in Congress are mostly Communists who want to crash our economy and finish destroying the US Constitution.  All of the 45 goals stated in the American Communist Party list of goals for the US have been achieved by Democrat sponsored Bills.  Democrats in Congress score miserably on Conservative Review with scores of zero to 20% because of their unconstitutional votes.

Republicans in Congress are mostly Moderate Democrats who ran as Republicans.  80% of all Republicans in Congress score poorly on Conservative Review with scores of 30% to 70%. These low scoring Republicans are the “Establishment”.  Their views are so similar to the Democrats, they can be considered to be Democrats and they comprise 80% of the Congress.  This is the “one party system” we have seen for decades.

Only 20% of Republicans score from 70% to 100%.  These high scoring Republicans are the Conservatives who vote NO on most or all unconstitutional Bills.

The “one party system” is what we’ve seen for decades, where politicians run as Republicans, but govern like Democrats. There are lots of reasons this could happen.

Government strayed from the constraints imposed by the Constitution and assumed powers illegally. Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt and their Congresses didn’t follow the process that controlled amending the Constitution by proposing formal amendments that States had to ratify.  Instead, they just passed unconstitutional laws.  The Courts and all the other Presidents and Congresses in between allowed these violations to stand.

States’ Rights were ignored after the Civil War.  The Constitution allowed States the rights to secede from the Union, so in 1960, 14 Southern States did just that.  The Northern States kept forts in the South and baited the South into firing the first shot.  That act of war allowed the North to reconquer the South and reunite the country. State’s Rights were not removed from the Constitution with a formal amendment and they are still there.

“Progressives” who wanted to expand the powers of the federal government knew that amendments to the Constitution to expand these powers would not likely be ratified by the States, so they began to suggest that the Constitution was a living document and could be “interpreted” into oblivion.  That fanciful lie got us where we are today.

Giving the Federal Reserve the power to set interest rates took that power from the free market.  Government subsidies that had not been allowed, were allowed and the government began to set the prices.

What this did is to allow government to violate the laws of economics. Prices had been established by the Private Sector Free Market System. In this System the market didn’t let prices get out of control, because consumers wouldn’t buy goods that were priced too high.  Businesses had to become more efficient to get their prices to match what consumers paid.  Henry Ford’s assembly line allowed him to price automobiles within the reach of ordinary citizens.

Government is now subsidizing everything and is bankrupt.  The path forward is to return to the US Constitution and close unconstitutional government departments, agencies and programs. Government subsidies for healthcare and education have ruined these industries with unsustainable prices. Special interests have taken over all the other unconstitutional government functions.  Current EPA regulations would increase electric power costs 5-fold.

When government powers were limited, government was as boring as it was designed to be. After government began to violate its own Constitution, corruption could flourish and Congress was “for sale” to the highest bidder.  Special interests give million dollar campaign contributions in exchange for votes on Bills.  Special interests should not be allowed to contribute to political campaigns; only voters should be allowed to fund political campaigns.
