GA GOP Delegate Requirements

National Delegate/Alternate Requirements

In accordance with the 2016 GAGOP Call that was distributed in November 2015.

If you plan to run as an At-Large Delegate or Alternate to the Republican National Convention, you must submit both a letter of intent and a political resume to the Georgia Republican Party, postmarked no later than May 1, 2016. Due to the high volume of people running for At-Large Delegate/Alternates, the Nominating Committee will not be conducting interviews.

Please send your letter of intent and political resume to:

Georgia Republican Party Attn: Nominations Chairman
P.O. Box 550008. Atlanta, GA 30355

If you are elected as a Delegate or Alternate to the Republican National Convention from District or State Conventions, you must be able to attend a mandatory National Convention meeting immediately upon adjournment of the State Convention. In addition to signing the oath, taking a photo, completing all paperwork and receiving additional pertinent information, each Delegate and Alternate must have a personal check, cashier's check or cash for $500, made payable to the Georgia Republican Party; the payment must be from personal funds as non-federal funds are not permissible.

Thanks, Adam Pipkin, Executive Director, GAGOP
