Stop the Forest Fires

Every year we have forest fires because nobody is clearing the forests.  Before excessive environmental laws were enacted and the lumber was allowed to operate in our forests, these fires were few and far between.  This also requires that we revisit the endangered species law and handle preservation differently.  States should arrange for their lumber industries to return and begin to maintain the forests to mitigate fire damage.  States should also be able to return land to rightful owners and sell land to citizens for productive use.

States need to sue the federal government for it’s unconstitutional land grabs and assume control over all “federal lands” within their borders.  The US federal government has assumed control over one third of the US land mass, yet the US Constitution forbids the federal government from “owning “ land beyond what it needs to function with military bases and office buildings.  All national parks should be state parks unless Congress submits an Amendment to allow federal land ownership to the states for ratification.
