Trump is ahead in Polls

To hear the mainstream media tell it, the 2016 election is already over, with just the mere formality of Election Day remaining to confirm what they have already been reporting now for months: Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will be the next occupant of the White House.

Yet it appears that the voters in a handful of rather important swing states haven’t received that message, as Republican nominee Donald Trump just took over the lead in a new set of state-level polls.

The Washington Post and SurveyMonkey recently teamed up to canvass voters in 15 of the most important states electorally, and Trump has obtained or held on to the lead in at least four states that were carried by Democrat President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

Those states are Florida, Iowa, Ohio and Nevada, where his lead in a 4-candidate race ranged from 2 to 5 percentage points, with virtually no margin of error reported due to the unique methodology of the poll.

In Florida, Trump led Clinton 45-43, with Libertarian Gary Johnson pulling in 7 percent support and Green Party candidate Jill Stein garnering 2 percent.

Trump has retained his lead in Iowa, beating out Clinton by a margin of 45-40, with Johnson bringing in 10 percent support and Stein still managing only 2 percent.

In Ohio, Trump was up 44-41 over Clinton. Johnson had 9 percent of voters backing him and Stein had the support of 4 percent of Ohioans.

Finally there was Nevada, where Trump led Clinton 44-40, with Johnson and Stein garnering the support of 9 percent and 5 percent respectively.

Far from the race being all but over, these state level polls tell an entirely different story from the one the being pushed by the mainstream media’s obviously skewed national polls, some of which are bought and paid for by Clinton supporters and Democrat operatives and most of which are heavily skewed in favor of the liberal candidate.
