Useful Emotions

We have been created with free will and a range of emotions that allow us to survive, self-actualize and thrive.

Fear of danger motivates us to be careful in the actions we take. Fear teaches us vigilance to observe our surroundings, the behavior of others and our own feelings and actions. Fear motivates us to be careful about spending money so we can always pay our bills.

Anger needs to be converted into resolve in order to become productive.  Anger is a motivator when it is coupled with judgement.  It helps us to determine and correct  incompetence.

Tolerance must be earned. Tolerance cannot be demanded. The intolerant are demanding tolerance. They have no interest in assimilating. They are activists whose demands impinge on the rest of us who used to have a country that protected our freedom.

Gratefulness is a gift we give ourselves.
