Public Transit

All Public transit needs to be private. Public transit is overpriced because of low utilization. But the Georgia Senate is going to waste some time on this. See below:

Bill calls for State-wide Transit Study, AJC 1/26/17, Metro
The Georgia Senate is considering SB-7, a bill to expand government subsidized public transit. This comes at a time when they should get the State completely out of public transit.

We don’t need another study. What we could use is for all Georgia Senators to drive back and forth over the top of I-285 every Friday from 3pm to 7pm to figure out how all this interstate traffic can fit in with the local traffic. They also need to look into how much corruption is involved in the doubling of the cost of road and highway maintenance and construction.

This Bill has “lobbyist” written all over it. The gaggle of “bribers” has a Consultant lined up, who will tell the Georgia Legislature that Georgia needs to fund public transit across the State.

All public transit should be private.  We need to build our Private Economy. The best thing these guys could to is to call Greyhound and Amtrak to see what their routes and schedules are if they want to know what’s going on. They should also see how brain-dead counties already have a “public transit”.

Public Transit should be easy for the Gold Dome to continue to side-step.  MARTA is a creature of DeKalb and Fulton and should remain so unless we elect dummies in Cobb or Gwinnett who want MARTA.

The Georgia legislature needs to close GRTA and repeal the laws that authorized Regional Commissions.

It’s over. We are not Europe and we don’t want to be Europe. There is no longer a Communist in the Whitehouse, so vote NO on SB-6.
