Religions Adapting

Jews have led the way in adapting to living in different countries amid different cultures. They continue to have a separation between Orthodox (Hassidic) and Reform Jews, but they don’t fight with each other.

The major Christian denominations have continued to adapt to public opinion over the past 50 years, but have not been thriving for lots of reasons.

Catholics relaxed some practices like eating fish on Fridays, fasting before communion and women wearing head covering in church. The Mass changed from Latin in 1962 and the Vatican II Council enlisted the laity into church work with mixed results. The election of Pope John Paul II reinforced conservatism and a rejection of “liberation theology” and Pope Benedict XVI reinforced it.  But the election of Pope Francis signaled that the Liberals had either taken over the church or the Cardinals just made a mistake.

Protestant churches accepted women Priests and Pastors, but looked to the Catholics to oppose abortion. The Protestant churches were more steadfast in their stand against unconstitutional acts by the US federal government. Catholics were split 50-50 as conservative and socialist. 

The Judeo-Christian bible contains references to God leading the Israelites to win wars of land acquisition and the 1967 war reinforces this notion, but generally Jews are kind, peaceful and very capable.

The Islamic terrorists do want to conquer the world through migration and intimidation and it looks like this re-establishment of the Ottoman Empire (Caliphate) is about to be stopped by the Arab governments they would seek to overthrow. This elimination of current nation-states would be consistent with the goals of UN Agenda 21 and it was the goal of the Arab Spring, but it looks like that scam is unwinding.
