Frankfurt is Toast

ACHTUNG! GERMANS THE NEW MINORITY IN MAJOR GERMAN CITY, Experts call it harbinger of demographic change across Europe, by Paul Bremmer, 7/2/17, WND

Frankfurt has officially become Germany’s first “majority minority” city, as data from the city’s Office for Multicultural Affairs reveal more than half of the city’s residents now have a migrant background.

Sylvia Weber, the city’s secretary of integration, presented the new information this week, confirming 51.2 percent of Frankfurt’s population has a so-called “migration background.” A “migration background” includes people with a non-German nationality as well as Germans born abroad and minors whose parents have immigrated to Germany.
“The trend is clear,” Weber stated. “We are a city without a majority.”

Turks, who represent 13 percent of the population, are the city’s largest non-German minority. Relations between Germany and Turkey have deteriorated since last July’s failed coup in Turkey, and this week Germany rejected a request by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to address ethnic Turks in Germany next week on the sidelines of the G20 summit.

There are about 3 million Turks in Germany. The large diaspora is a legacy of Germany’s massive post-war guest-worker program of the 1960s and 1970s.

Turkey is only one of the Islamic countries that has seen many of its residents flock to Germany. Germany’s Muslim population surpassed 6 million in 2016 for the first time, fueled by the country’s open-door immigration policy and the higher birthrate of Muslim women.

In fact, because the fertility rate of native German women is well below replacement level, the German government is counting on permanent mass migration to maintain the current size of the German population through 2060, according to a government report leaked earlier this year.

WND reporter Leo Hohmann, who has reported extensively on immigration and Islam, thinks it’s only a matter of time before Germany becomes a Muslim country. “Germany’s future is as an Islamic state,” Hohmann declared. “I believe its evolution into an Islamic state will be completed within the next 10 to 20 years.

“The only question is whether Germany’s governing elites are in favor of this transformation and are deliberately pushing toward that end, or if they are really just that naive that they believe they can continue to import Shariah-compliant migrants and remain part of the free world.”

Hohmann, author of “Stealth Invasion: Muslim Conquest Through Immigration and the Resettlement Jihad,” noted the German government has made migrants a protected class, prosecuting German citizens who dare to speak out against the flood of Muslim migrants that has engulfed the country. The government has even partnered with Facebook, Twitter and Google to try and stamp out anti-immigrant “hate speech” online.

“So, in many ways Germany is already conquered by Islam, as Islam is afforded special favor that other religions do not enjoy,” Hohmann said.

Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, believes Frankfurt’s demographic transformation is a sign of what’s to come throughout Europe. “This is just the first city this will happen to,” Geller, author of “Stop the Islamization of America,” told WND. “More quickly than most people realize, it will start happening to cities all over Europe.

“For years it has been projected that before too long, if demographic trends continued, there would be Muslim majorities in Europe. Instead of heeding these projections and changing their policies, European leaders only hastened this process,” she said. “Now they are reaping what they have sown and will continue to do so, as Europe is engulfed in civil strife and open conflict between the adherents of Shariah and the dwindling remnants of defenders of freedom.”

Michael Finch, president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, predicts Germany will peacefully become Islamic within about 20 years. However, he does not believe it will be the end of Germany or Europe.

In an article published recently at FrontPageMagazine, Finch pointed out Germany is today the strongest country in Europe, with the world’s fourth largest economy. However, the nation remains wracked by guilt over Nazism. Finch thinks Germans remain a prideful people, but with nationalism having become taboo and Christianity having largely disappeared from the culture, they have no outlet for their pride. That’s where Islam could come in.

“I do wonder if Germany thinks it can meld Islam into its culture, into its traditions and make an accommodation,” Finch wrote. “A special brand of Germanic Islam. The Ottoman Turks embraced Islam and created a vast empire that ruled for over 500 years. In embracing Islam, Germany could find its purpose, its clean break from the past, one that it feels no guilt over.

“After all, Islam is the epitome of a politically correct religion in these times. The Germans may actually think they can bend Islam to their will. And the truly frightening thing is, maybe they can. A Germany with a new purpose and new faith, ruling over Europe as they do already, but all with an Islamic flavor. Some will say it is fantasy. I say it is time to be worried.”
