California Burning

Forest fires emanating in the “National Forests” that surround Los Angeles have caused $10 Billion in damage so far. The fires span Santa Barbara north of LA and reach to San Diego south.

This is an annual event that seems to be preventable by opening logging in these forests and inviting nearby American Indian tribes to live in the forest. Some will go for the logging jobs and some will go to hunt. All will clear the underbrush and build fire-breaks. You laugh, but it usually takes this kind of out-of-the-box thinking to find solutions to problems like this in states like California.

Before anything that makes sense in California can be done, somebody needs to fix the California legislature. Government employee unions run the California legislature with bribes to legislators and threats to keep them in line.

California went Liberal early and were first to convert to “Environmentalism” beginning in the 1960s. California Schools and universities were ripe for Communist infiltration and Californians were trained to embrace all suicidal forms of Liberalism.

California has become unaffordable and companies have been moving out of California for decades and this will certainly continue. Liberal politicians will continue to tout the advantages of moving to California even when there are none.

These folks not only have bad government, high taxes and bad judgement, but they live on the San Andres fault and are subject to earthquake damage as well as forest fire damage.
