Immigration Reform

We need to hang a sign on the Statue of Liberty that reads: “Closed for Repairs”.  Democrats have sabotaged our immigration laws for decades and their endgame was “open borders”. That needs to change. We need to remove “welfare immigrants” and get back to doing the “brain drain”.

 

The Trump Agenda includes the elimination of Chain Migration, the Diversity Lottery, Anchor Babies and Refugees. All immigrants would be considered for visas based on their abilities and our need for those abilities. They will all need to be self-supporting, because welfare for immigrants will end. Refugees will likely be funded by US contributions to refugee camps near their home countries.

 

The requirements for H1b visas will be tightened. Visa overstays will likely be addressed with tighter enforcement mechanisms and sanctuary cities can count the days. ICE is pursuing criminal illegals across the US and the “wall” is being built.

 

The mere mention of immigration control resulted in a 70% decline in illegal border crossings in 2017 and 800,000 DACA illegals are about to lose their work permits by court order unless Congress has a solution that allows the top 20% to get new guest worker permits. Remember, Trump said illegals would have to go to the back of the line, but could apply for citizenship from anywhere. The problem with DACA is that their parents are illegal. After US welfare ends for illegals, I expect illegals at the lower end could very well migrate back to their home countries and take their DACA kids with them if they can all find jobs in their home countries.
