Kazakhstan

Trump met with the President of Kazakhstan on 1/16/18 and part of their meeting was televised on Fox News.

Kazakhstan is a country that borders Russia and was part of the USSR until 1990, when it was given its independence.

Kazakhstan’s population is 18.2 million, with 70% Muslim and 26% Christian. It is a large country occupying 1,052,100 square miles, located north of Uzbekistan and founded in 1465AD. It was released by USSR in 1990, Kazakhstan’s GDP is $500 Billion. Their economy is based on: oil, coal, iron ore, manganese, chromite, lead, zinc, copper, titanium, bauxite, gold, silver, phosphates, sulfur, iron and steel; tractors and other agricultural machinery, electric motors, construction materials. Government debt is $36.4 billion, or 25 percent of GDP. 


Kazakhstan is working with Trump to help Afghanistan defeat terrorists by assisting the US military with access and logistics. Kazakhstan is also working with Trump to solve the North Korea problem and working with Russia. This is a well-managed, stabilizing country that borders Russia and has a history with Russia.  Kazakhstan is 46th in the Economic Freedom Index, ahead of Russia at 114th. Trump met with the President of Kazakhstan at the Whitehouse on 1/16/18.
