Terror Attacks in 2018

There were 146 terrorist incidents in January 2018. Some of these terrorist groups are Marxist rebels working on individual countries.  The majority of attacks are still ISIS and Taliban and are in 8 Middle East countries. But Africa, Boko Harem and rebels are attacking 10 African countries.  Also in Asia, 5 countries have multiple active terrorist groups. In the Middle East, these attacks occurred in Israel, Turkey, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Syria, Iraq,
 In Africa there were attacks in Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Somalia, Cameroon, Congo, Niger, Maghreb, Mozambique, Senegal,
 In Asia, attacks were in India, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), Mali, Philippines. In Europe, attacks were in Kosovo and France In South America rebel insurgency attacks were in Colombia and Ecuador
 Groups Proliferating
 Terror and Rebel Groups have increased in number and some have discrete names. There are 4 groups in India and 2 rebel groups in the Philippines

The terror organizations included Al-Qaeda, Taliban, ISIS, Al-Shabaab, Boko Harem, Palestinian Nationals,

Marxist Rebel groups in South America are FARC in Ecuador and ELN in Colombia,

Jaish-e- Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen, CPI Naxalite Maoist Insurgency and Lashkar-e-Taiba are in India,

New Peoples Army and Bangsamoro Islamic Fighters are in the Philippines,

Barisan Insurgency rebels are in southern Thailand

Marxist Rebels, Allied Democratic Forces are in Congo.
