Household Expenses

Utilities will continue to rise because they can. We won’t need to increase our electric bills by 500%, because we replaced Obama with Trump. But, electric utilities need to upgrade “the grid” and deal with environmental problems.

Natural gas, water, phone, TV and internet access costs are high.  Households do have choices, but the service bundles benefit the utilities more than they benefit the consumers. If we use less, they just end up charging more. It defies the law of supply and demand.

Government, healthcare and education costs continue to be unsustainable. Government needs to cut spending in half Healthcare and education need to return to free market pricing. Most of government can be privatized and education should be done from home on the internet. Healthcare is another matter. Obamacare needs to be repealed to allow consumers to buy cheaper catastrophic major medical coverage.

Government, utilities and education need to get rid of the unions and the pension plans and go to 401Ks.
