AJC, 6/15/18, page A-1
article “Cagle critics call on prosecutors to probe candidate”, taken together
with several other AJC articles on the same subject got me thinking about what
the AJC is attempting to do.
The GOP Primary
run-off is July 24 between Cagle and Kemp and daily attacks on Cagle in the AJC
might be aimed at helping Kemp become the nominee. But why should a Democrat
newspaper like the AJC even care. The
website titled “inkempetence.com” accuses Kemp of defaulting on loans, getting
tax breaks and taking $2.5 million in crops from farmers and refusing to pay
them. But the AJC isn’t covering the Kemp mud wrestling shenanigans.
In the GOP Primary
election, Cagle got 236,371 votes, Kemp got 155.324 votes and other candidates
got 216,179 votes. Total GOP votes were 607,874.
In the Democrat
Primary election Abrams got 423,191 votes and Harris got 130,259 votes. Total
Democrat votes were 553,450.
(In 2016) The certified ballot count of Georgia voters was an
all-time high of 4,165,405 out of the 5,443,046 registered to vote. That
amounted to a huge turnout of 76.53 percent in a year when the national voter
turnout was a below-average 55 percent.
So, if we still have
5.5 million registered voters in Georgia in 2018, it looks like only 1.61
million came out for the 2018 Primaries. That’s about 30%.
There are lots of
reasons for Georgia Republican voters to be wary of RINOs like Cagle and Kemp.
They are 100% GOP “Establishment” politicians.
They are silent on real issues.
We can, however, expect them to follow Trump’s policies, but they would
continue the State policies we currently suffer under.
Electing a Democrat to
be Governor of Georgia would be a disaster. Democrats are no longer permitted
to vary from the DNC narrative and that is pure socialism and globalism.
