Trump is correct in
his approach to fixing immigration to return to the policy of restricting
immigration based on merit. We should only admit those immigrants we need to
employ in jobs our companies need to fill. We would allow them to bring their
spouse and children.
This model does not
include welfare immigrants or refugees being admitted in the future.
