Tariff Tiff

Trump is required to ensure that the DOD has US based manufacturing capability for defense purchases to ensure supplies. He is having trouble with steel and aluminum and may need to back off of tariffs, but he can use other means to sponsor US steel and aluminum for defense purposes. The overcapacity of Chinese steel is being addressed, but ending the dumping of cheap steel could take some time.

Trump also wants Germany and other countries to lower their tariffs on US autos. If Germany lowered its tariff on US autos from 25% to 2% to match the US tariff that would be an easy deal for them to make. Germans would still prefer to buy German cars. The same goes for Japan and South Korea.

Trump is asking foreign countries to lower their tariffs on US goods. The global cabal is going nuts. The Big Money that owns foreign politicians have these politicians in a tiff. Most of these countries have loaded tariffs and VAT taxes on imports.

Trump wants to convert US trade to bi-lateral deals with each country and this is where all countries need to go. The globalists really hate this.  They would rather subvert us sovereignty and set up their globalist kangaroo courts to pretend to solve the intellectual property disputes.

Trump wants to lower the $566 billion annual US trade deficit. He wants reciprocal trade with China, Canada, Mexico and others. He would be happy with moves to increase US exports or reduce US imports with these countries.

Trump has opened the can to expose trade barriers and declared that other countries need to put their citizens first as well.
