exported 5,632 million pounds of pork and imported 1,116 pounds of pork.
The total number of
hogs and pigs in the US was 72.908 million in 2018. Iowa is home to 22.6
million hogs and pigs. Next is North Carolina with 8.9 million, then Minnesota
with 8.5 million, then Illinois with 5.3 million.
