Clinton Problems

Liberal Donors Finally Abandon Clintons, by Freedom News 11/28/18.
Recently released documents show a massive plunge in liberal donations to the Clinton Foundation fueling speculation that the non-profit is nothing more than a pay-to-play scheme.

The Department of Justice has been taking a long look at Bill and Hillary’s presumed international humanitarian organization. In the run-up to the 2016 elections when Hillary ran as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, donors poured $62.9 million into the fund. Dogged by allegations she put national security at risk and failed to send support during the Benghazi Attacks in which insurgents killed Americans, Hillary was trounced by now-President Donald J. Trump in the general election.

On the heels of the historic loss, donations reportedly plummeted by 58 percent to only $26.5 million in 2017. Although the Clintons maintain no correlation exists between their political power and charity, critics have drawn some convincing parallels.

In 2015, the Clinton Foundation suffered a 37-percent drop when allegations surfaced that the political power couple had used their positions to solicit millions from foreign entities. Although the left-leaning media largely avoided reporting on Hillary’s pay-to-play mentality as Secretary of State within the Obama Administration, facts came to light that she approved the sale of 20 percent of American uranium to Russia.

Disgraced Pres. Bill Clinton received hefty speaking fees somewhat connected to the Russia sale and the family foundation reportedly received upwards of $145 million in donations from parties connected to the deal. When allegations of corruption broke, many liberal donors pulled out only to resurface as she made a presidential run.

While everyday Americans were primarily kept in the dark by biased media outlets, several watchdog resources covered what many consider a multi-million dollar scam. The following analysis was reported by the International Business Times.

·       “Under Clinton’s leadership, the State Department approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations whose governments have given money to the Clinton Foundation.”

·       “The Clinton-led State Department also authorized $151 billion of separate Pentagon-brokered deals for 16 of the countries that donated to the Clinton Foundation, resulting in a 143 percent increase in completed sales to those nations over the same time frame during the Bush administration. These extra sales were part of a broad increase in American military exports that accompanied Obama’s arrival in the White House. The 143 percent increase in U.S. arms sales to Clinton Foundation donors compares to an 80 percent increase in such sales to all countries over the same time period.”

·       “American defense contractors also donated to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state and in some cases made personal payments to Bill Clinton for speaking engagements.”

“The word was out to these groups that one of the best ways to gain access and influence with the Clintons was to give to this foundation,” Campaign Legal Center policy director Meredith McGehee reportedly said. “This shows why having public officials, or even spouses of public officials, connected with these nonprofits is problematic.”

Although the Clintons continue to deny claims that they ran a multi-million dollar corruption scheme with the same level of conviction as Bill denied having sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky, it’s implausible to deny a massive revenue decline. Each dip follows a political power problem for the Clintons, and each rise seems to be on par with political gains. It was not until after Hillary took the presidential loss that the family fund dropped even close to below $100 million annually.

But what many Americans may not be aware of is that the most recent decline is also coupled with an independent investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Before his forced resignation, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions tasked U.S. Attorney John Huber to undergo a complete review of the foundation from outside the Washington, D.C. swamp.

“Mr. Huber with the Department of Justice and the FBI has been having an investigation—at least part of his task was to look at the Clinton Foundation and what may or may not have happened as it relates to improper activity with that charitable foundation, so we’ve set a hearing date for December 5,” House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Mark Meadows reportedly said.

Although Democrats are expected to attack Huber’s credibility should he unearth even the appearance of impropriety, he has been confirmed by the Senate twice.

Pres. Trump has been vocal about the Clinton schemes since the 2016 campaign and has rallied supporters with the famous chant “lock her up.”

Citing the initial findings of the Clinton Foundation, he tweeted that it “shows that they illegally played the power game” and “monetized their political influence through the Foundation.”

The former liberals who counted themselves as Clinton allies are staying mum and stopped participating in the pay-to-play scheme.
