trillion (32.5%. The US government owns $5.73 trillion (27%). Foreign investors
own $6.21 trillion (29.3%). The Federal Reserve owns $2.38 trillion (11.2%).
Foreign owners include
China at $1.18 trillion and Japan at $1.03 trillion.
The current yield on
10 year Treasuries is 2.9%. The current yield for S&P 500 Index stocks in
2017 and 2018 was 27%.
