US Natural Gas


The US produces more natural gas than it consumes and is a net exporter of natural gas.

Dec 11, 2018 - EIA forecasts that dry natural gas production will average 83.3 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) in 2018, up 8.5 Bcf/d from 2017.

Oct 1, 2018 - From January through June of 2018, net natural gas exports from the United States averaged 0.87 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d),

Oct 10, 2018 - (Reuters) - U.S. dry natural gas production should rise to an all-time high of 82.67 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) in 2018 from 74.77 bcfd.

EIA projected U.S. gas consumption would rise to an all-time high of 80.58 bcfd in 2018 from 74.27 bcfd in 2017.
