Border is Defense

Securing the border is the only legitimate defense expenditure that needs to be made. All other DOD expenditures are secondary to defending the US landmass.

US Military bases should be relocated to the Southern Border and the land for the border wall area should be federal land. Our laws are so corrupt that it will probably require the President to declare the border area as a National Park. Whatever that costs should also be paid out of current DOD budgets.

Congress does not control the DOD. It votes for budgets and programs, but the President and the DOD spend the money on emergency measures as they arise.

The US has squandered $Trillions on Military Foreign Aid defending the borders of other countries with nothing to show for it.

The DOD has initiated military actions and defense programs forever with Presidential approval. These were responses to unforeseen events.  Obviously, no congressional approval was required. Input from House and Senate committees has provided public oversight of large expenditures, but Congress should not be able to prevent the President and DOD from stopping this invasion.

In addition to the 6,000 migrants in Mexico, there are an additional 2000 migrants entering Mexico from Honduras. There are 10,000 migrants who have applied for visas. These caravans are sponsored by Soros’ Open Borders non-profits, drug gangs and coyotes who charge migrants to join the caravans. All caravan migrants need to be arrested, booked and deported back to their home countries immediately. Offering humanitarian assistance will only encourage more caravans.
