Trump Ending Shutdown Temporarily

President Trump is proposing a Bill to end the shutdown, pay government employees and temporarily open the government for the next 3 weeks.

Over the next 3 weeks, Trump hopes to get border funding from Congress.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump and Democrats reached an agreement Friday to temporarily reopen government for three weeks, ending 35-day shutdown, the president announced.

The deal does not include funding for Trump’s border wall.

The temporary end to the shutdown came as thousands of federal workers missed a second paycheck during the longest government shutdown in history.

Trump is answering Pelosi’s request to end the shutdown first. We may see Pelosi finally agree to negotiate the budget bill to include border protection funding. If this doesn’t happen, we will see Lucy pull the football. They have until February 15. Trump is offering to delay having DOD build the wall for 3 weeks.
