Mongol Empire

The Mongol Empire 1270-1309 AD was established by Genghis Kahn. It was the second largest with a population of 110 million and a land area of 9.15 million square miles from The Pacific Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. Its decline began in 1331 with the Black Plague. In 1783 it was annexed by Russia.
