The last time the US
military was involved in protecting US borders from an actual invasion was the
Mexican War in 1848.
Now we have an actual
invasion at the Mexican Border and Socialist Democrats continue to obstruct
funding for border wall construction. Those invading include criminals,
terrorists, gang members, drug cartels and welfare migrants.
The 2018 budget for
the Defense Department is $716 billion. Most of this is for Military Foreign
Aid that includes maintaining 1.3 million active duty military personnel in 800
overseas bases in 70 countries.
The Department of
Defense should be renamed the Department of Military Foreign Aid. We need $25
billion for the wall and should get it from the DOD.
We spend federal
dollars on lots of things we don’t really need as outlined below:
