US population by age group in 2017 gives us some idea of how many of our citizens are working age.

19-25 9%

26-34 12%

35-54 26%

55-64 13%

65+ 16%

60% of our population in 2017 was age 19 to 64.  60% of 329 million is 197.4 million and many of the 65+ group remain working into their 70s. We also need to restore student jobs for those in the 16-18 age group. We have 156 million employed and probably need 40 million more jobs.
