US Foreign Relations Failures

Most of what government does is too much, too late and not necessary. The mainstream media gives cover to these bandwagon schemes by not reporting the current facts related to whatever “crisis” special interest groups want to attack. The media also blocks coverage of real crises that politically aligned special interest groups want to suppress. You can tell how big a scam will be by the amount of push-back on questioning the scam comes from special interest groups. Examples are endless.

In 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt failed to set the ground rules for Russia to prohibit land grabs after World War II.  In 1945, Russia kept what they occupied. This sent Russia the signal that they could continue their land grabs and they did.

In 1950, President Harry Truman called for a UN coalition to protect South Korea when Communist North Korea invaded South Korea aided by Communist China and Communist Russia. This ended in 1953 to return to original borders.

In 1957, Communist North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam. President Dwight Eisenhower authorized US Military Advisors to assist.  There were 760 US Advisors in South Vietnam in 1959. Russia and China were backing North Vietnam. In 1960 there were 960 US troops in South Vietnam serving as advisors.

In 1961, President John Kennedy allowed limited US aid for Cubans to attempt to overthrow the Cuban Communist government and they failed for lack of direct US military air support Kennedy denied.

In 1962, Kennedy used a Naval Blockade to force the USSR to remove nuclear missiles from Cuba and it worked.

In 1963, Kennedy shared his reservations about committing US troops to defend South Vietnam because he thought it would fail.  But the Cold Warriors in the US government insisted that stemming Communism across the globe was a high priority. In 1963 there were 16,300 US Advisors serving in Vietnam.

In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson wanted to placate the Cold Warriors and committed 184,300 US troops to Vietnam. By 1968 there were 536,100 US troops in Vietnam. The ground war was a failure and Johnson announced he would not serve another term as President.

In 1969, President Richard Nixon began negotiations with North Vietnam to end US involvement in the Vietnam War and reduced troops to 475,200. US troops were further reduced to 334,300 in 1970, 156,800 in 1971 and 24,200 in 1972.  Nixon used massive bombing attacks on North Korea and its supply depots to give South Vietnam a chance to avoid the take-over, but South Vietnam surrendered in 1975.

The US cost of the Vietnam was $168 billion and 50,000 lives. It was time to rethink the US role as a global peacekeeper. Vietnam was Military Foreign Aid, not defense.

In 1989 the Soviet Union collapsed and reformed as the Russian Republic in 1991. US resistance to Communist take-over ceased.

Military Foreign Aid continued under President George HW Bush with the Gulf War to free Kuwait from Iraq in 1990 and signed on the UN Agenda 21 in 1992.

In 1993, President Bill Clinton implemented UN Agenda 21 in the US and signed NAFTA to off-shore US manufacturing.

President George W Bush continued Military Foreign Aid in the Middle East wars after 2001 that added $5 trillion to the US National Debt.

In 2008, we elected Obama and American Communists came out of the closet, the US economy declined, Obamacare quadrupled healthcare costs and we added another $10 trillion to the US National Debt.

The US spent $6 trillion on Middle East Wars since 2001 and the US National Debt is currently $22.8 trillion.

President Donald Trump announced the end of US Military Foreign Aid in 2017 and began restoring the US economy.
