There is an ideological divide in US companies between Democrats and Republicans that goes beyond basic industry interests and must be attributed to the political leanings of these companies. It may be Globalism vs Nationalism, Socialism vs Capitalism, Victimhood vs Meritocracy, Rural vs Urban or Millennials vs Boomers. Companies tend to pander to their targeted consumers and that could be a factor.
