Government
revenues of 228 countries totaled $23,256,968,000. Spending totaled $25,875,789,000,. Deficits totaled $2,618,794,000. That is
revenues of $23.3 trillion, spending of $25.9 trillion and deficits of $2.62
trillion.
Even
Communist countries know that it requires an robust Private Sector Economy to
generate GDP to pay the taxes required to fund governments. Governments have overspent and overborrowed
because of low interest rates. Some countries are in trouble because they ran
out of cash to pay their loans.
Zimbabwe, Venezuela and others have printed money and suffered
hyperinflation.
Other
countries have been “war torn” for decades. Somalia, Yemen, Syria, South Sudan
and others have “war damage” and it will take decades to recover. Many European countries need to reduce their
government spending that ranges from 40% to 52% of GDP. Reducing the VAT Tax
from 20% and leaving the EU should be considered.
Governments
reporting a Surplus were Germany, S Korea, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland,
Norway, Taiwan, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan, Macau, Iceland and
Jamaica. Governments spend on
infrastructure to support Private Sector development.

data below lists countries by GDP and includes their revenue, spending,
