Big Mistakes

We should have learned that economies that cannot support their populations to provide for themselves will create disasters. We can trace the histories of wars and hapless governments to provide some measure of caution.

World War I could have been avoided in 1914 if Serbia’s European allies had economically isolated the Austro-Hungarians until they retreated from Serbia instead of declaring war. Banks could have cut them off. 

The same is true for World War II. Poland’s European allies could have banned all banking with Germany in 1933, knowing that Hitler was a threat. But banks did lend money to Hitler and gave him 6 years to build the NAZI military. Europe’s wishful thinking sowed the seeds of their destruction.

The Great Depression from 1929 to 1936 could have been shortened if the Federal Reserve had increased the money supply and if agricultural watering had been widely available in the Midwest.

The excessive 30% US Federal Land could have been avoided if the Congress had sent an Amendment to the States to allow the federal government to nationalize State land. This Amendment would not have been approved by the States in 1913.

Most serious errors made by governments have been caused by activist propaganda that led to a political bandwagon that railroaded our lemmings in Congress to push through bad laws and authorize bad wars. Serving in government requires a thorough understanding of the limits imposed by the US Constitution plus a thorough understanding of the US free market economy.

In 1848, Karl Marx published his Communist Manifesto recommending the seizure of private property by force that would destroy entire countries.

In 1872, US Voters failed to object to the unconstitutional establishment of Yellowstone national park.

In 1889, US Voters failed to object to the Supreme Court decision to allow anchor babies to claim citizenship.

In 1933, US Voters failed to object to their Social Security contributions going to the US Congress rather than their own retirement accounts.

In 1947, US Voters failed to object to Hugo Black’s Supreme Court overreach decision on the separation of church and state.

In the 1960s, US Voters failed to object to government overreach in environmental regulations and Cold War actions that created the Vietnam War. US Voters failed to object to their open border and loose immigration policies that allowed drug dealers and welfare migrants to invade the US.

In 1973, US Voters failed to object to the Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion. US abortions total 62 million since 1973.

In 1992, US Voters failed to object to President Bush signing on to UN Agenda 21 to create global governance. US Voters failed to question the global warming hoax, knowing that the UN was a corrupt organization.

In the 1993, US Voters failed to object to NAFTA and the off-shoring of their manufacturing jobs and the restrictions on their oil producing jobs. Congress passed loose lending laws to ensure mortgage failures and the 2008 meltdown. Congress also required hospitals to treat indigent patients

In 2001, US Voters failed to object to Middle East ground wars in Afghanistan and Iraq that doubled the National Debt from $5 trillion to $10 trillion.

In 2008, the US government failed to monitor mortgage lending and created the liquidity crisis that resulted in doubling the National Debt from $10 trillion to $20 trillion.

In the 2010s, State Legislatures sent applications to the US Congress to call an Article 5 Constitutional Convention to impose a balanced budget amendment and term limits. They didn’t know that this never before used method would result in implementing unelected government. These applications need to be cancelled. 

Instead, US Voters have been duped by the “bandwagon” approach to establishing US law.  The price of these mistakes ran in the $trillions.

American Communist Goals restated in 1963 outlines 45 goals designed to destroy the US from within. US Voters failed to read these goals and understand that they have all been implemented through the US Courts and US Congress.
