Influenza A&B in US


The 2019-2020 Flu Season in the US began on 9/29/19 and CDC estimates US cases at 39 million with 400,000 hospitalizations and 24,000 deaths.

Flu Season Week 12 - 9/29/19 – 3/21/20 peaked in Week 6 and is ending but Total Flu Season is being extended by the Coronavirus-19 outbreak in December 2019 that is producing its own curve with 800,000 cases and 35,000 deaths in 199 countries.

The Coronavirus extends the Flu Season and looks to add another 1 million cases and 50,000 deaths bringing the total to 40 million cases with 85,000 deaths or more.
