Total US Flu Deaths by Population

The most populous States should have a higher number of flu cases, hospitalizations and deaths. This is true of the “regular flu” we see every season with some variation. In the US, Regular Flu A&B Deaths for 2018 totaled about 60 thousand. Flu Deaths from COV19 so far total 1,042. 

The US is beginning to look at cases and deaths in more populated States like California, Texas and Florida, anticipating higher deaths in these States.  The US is also looking to send citizens back to work in States with few cases and few deaths.

So far, deaths in the US attributed to Coronavirus19 on 3/26/20 total 1042. This pales in comparison to 59,041 deaths attributed to Regular Flu Influenza A&B in 2018.
