Global %Deaths/Cases continues to trend flat to down, because of higher testing. Countries are reporting higher case counts and lower death counts. Countries with the highest %Death/Case are Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Sudan, Syria, Egypt and Somalia.

Large cities with interconnecting trains, open borders, international tourism and government healthcare systems are particularly vulnerable to pandemics.

The 1918-1919 Spanish Flu was a virus that reached 500 million cases requiring treatment and 50 million deaths worldwide. 675,000 deaths were in the US. It affected all age groups and lasted for 2 years.

The 2019-2020 Wuhan Covid19 virus is approaching 212 million cases and 4.5 million cumulative deaths worldwide. During the first 6 months of this virus, tests were given to patients with symptoms that required treatment.  Now most new cases are mild or asymptomatic carriers. False negative tests require repeat testing.

219 Countries continue to report Covid19 cases to the World Health Organization and some data is suspect. China has reported 4634 deaths and 85000 to 95000 cases for 18 months, Singapore has reported 29 to 40 deaths for 18 months. Australia stopped reporting deaths for 15 months.

The Earth has over 211 million Covid cases and a population of 7.9 billion for a Covid case rate/population of 2.7%. The Earth also has over 4.4 million deaths for a death rate/population of 0.06%.  7.7 billion or 98% of the global population have not contracted Covid-19.
