US Migration History 9-25-24

Assimilation is necessary to preserving the culture of a country. In the US assimilation was possible because most of the immigrants were coming from Europe and came from Judeo-Christian cultures. These migrants from Europe were not welcomed by the US citizenry. Each national group suffered discrimination. Citizens were protective of their jobs and reacted violently to oppose each group of usurpers. The Jews assimilated well because they has been kicked around Europe for centuries. They knew how to blend in and still retain their Jewish Faith and Family customs.

Asians who had converted to Christianity had no problems. Those who continued their religious and contemplative practices mostly remained in their home countries. The US has a relative few Muslim Mosques and Hindu Temples. Many who are 2nd generation seem to be assimilating to US living.

The history of immigration to the United States has seen many changes in the countries of origin of immigrants, as well as the reasons people have come to the country:

Colonial era: Between 1700 and 1775, an estimated 350,000 to 500,000 Europeans immigrated to the United States, including Scots, Scots-Irish, Germans, Swiss, and French Huguenots. Many of these immigrants were indentured servants.

1840s–1889: The first large wave of immigration to the United States, with over 14 million immigrants arriving. Most of these immigrants came from Northern or Western Europe, with Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom accounting for 70% of the total.

1881–1893: Immigration from central, eastern, and southern Europe increased rapidly.

1894–1914: Immigrants from these regions accounted for 69% of the total.

1915–present: The Western Hemisphere has been a major source of immigrants, accounting for 46% of the total.

1965–present: Immigration from Asia and Latin America has increased, with about half of U.S. immigrants coming from Latin America and about a quarter from Asia.

21st century: Immigration from Africa has also increased.

In 1979, George Soros opened his first foundation, the Open Society Foundations. In 1979 his hedge fund had reached about $100 million and his personal wealth had climbed to about $25 million.

In 2015, 1.3 million Muslims migrated to Europe and requested asylum. They came for welfare and jobs. It was a Muslim invasion. Poland and Hungary refused to accept them. Italy stopped receiving them. They settled in Germany, the UK, France, Sweden and other countries. The Muslim Migrants committed crimes and became a burden. Terror attacks occurred. Women were raped. Migrants were disruptive. Europe is still dealing with the down-side of this mistake.

In 2015, 69,920 Muslims were admitted to the United States as refugees. The leading countries of nationality for refugees admitted during this period were Burma, Iraq, and Somalia. They settled in Minnesota and Michigan.

In 2017 George Soros funded the Open Society Foundation with $18B. Open Borders Scam

Comments

Refugee migration was influenced by wars and Covid19. Congress set the ceiling on how many refugees could be admitted. Trump lowered the numbers. Biden added the numbers to the 20,000 illegals admitted from 2021 to 2024.
