Federal grants: Over half a billion dollars in federal grants make up more than two-thirds of Catholic Charities' annual spending. The US government contracts with Catholic Charities and other NGOs to settle illegals in the US. In 2010, Catholic Charities received $2.9 billion in revenue from the US government. Catholic Charities resettled “Refugees: in the US in 2015.

Resettlement activities normally start when the illegal migrants are delivered to the location of their choice. It involves feeding them, housing them and finding jobs for them. They also arrange for applying for welfare, medical treatment and school enrollment.

Refugees and asylees are eligible for all welfare benefits for the first seven years they reside in the U.S., after which their eligibility is greatly reduced. Non-citizens who have worked for ten years and armed forces personnel and their dependents are eligible for all benefits.

US Asylum Laws need to be repealed and replaced with immigration laws that are based on US labor needs and limited to law-abiding citizens of countries in North and South America. US Companies will need to sponsor all of these migrants with H-Visas. All migrants should be “legal”.

South American Migrants fleeing bad economies should first seek entry to neighboring countries with similar cultures and languages.
