The US consumes 20 Million Barrels of Oil per Day. The US produces 13.7 Million Barrels of Oil per Day. To be Energy self-sufficient, the US must increase Oil Production by 6.7 Million Barrels per Day. US Regular Gasoline Average Price 2024 is $3.61 per gallon. 

Brent Crude Oil is $85 per Barrel.

Natural Gas Spot Price $3.10 per Million BTUs

US LNG Exports 14 Billion Cubic Feet per Day.

A 10 MW turbine costs around $8 million, while a 12 MW turbine costs about $10.1 million, and a 14 MW turbine costs around $12.3 million. The most powerful 12 MW wind turbine can cost up to $400 million to manufacture and install.  In 2014:  The cost of Wind was 14 cents/kwh. The cost of Solar was 14 cents/kwh.

The cost of Natural Gas was 3 cents/kwh.  The cost of Coal was 2 cents/kwh. The cost of nuclear was 2 cents/kwh. The cost of Hydro was 1 cent/kwh.

The US will use Natural Gas Power Plants to generate Electricity. We need to add 1000 plants at a cost of $5.3M each to restore the US electric grid.
